Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital

Picture
The patient population at Millard Fillmore Suburban differs considerably from that seen at the Buffalo General Medical Center and ECMC. A full spectrum of ages is treated and the patients are from a more privileged socioeconomic group. Many EM resident graduates will practice in a department similar to that of Millard Fillmore Suburban. The two-month rotation of EM residents in the ED at Surburban thus serves to “round out” and complete the EM experience of the resident.

In recognition of the growing needs of the community, Millard Fillmore Suburban recently completed a two-year, $64 million expansion, which added more than 100,000 square feet to the hospital. This expansion will minimize wait times, expand services, and afford more modern and comfortable accommodations to patients and visitors.
